It is important to be yourself. No matter what happens in your life, who you run across, what anyone tells you to do or be, whatever the situation, circumstances or conditions that may change in your life and never lose sight of who you are or change for anyone or anything. It is important to be “you” and express yourself the way you want or do what you think is right for you. You will never be happy if you become someone that you are not or try to live up to someone else’s expectations and please everyone.
No one knows your life better than yourself and what makes you happy. Do not worry about what people think or say about you. It is your life to live the way you want to. Those people will come and go like the leaves in the wind. Just be yourself and love yourself and the ones that matter in life will love you too.
Let go of what you think you need to be and concentrate on what and who you are. Focus on your life and all of the positive things that go with it. Count your blessings each and every day. Live life your way.
I want to take a moment to lift and pray for everyone in the world. To celebrate all nationalities, all lives, all cultures, gender, and beliefs. There is so much history in everyone that there are not enough months, weeks, or days in the year to celebrate them all and assign time to them. The history in our lives dates back to the beginning with uncertainties, pain, hardships, struggles, and victories. Displaced families, lost loved ones, decisions made from fear, hope, and faith of all kinds stretched beyond belief. The very things that make up our history, also make up our very being in life to this day. Give your love and support for one another daily and fill our hearts and souls with unity and kindness.
As you begin to celebrate Black History Month, remember everyone and the history behind all nationalities so that it may enrich your life and the lives of many.
Finding your inner peace during difficult times is a challenge for all. We get so focused on our problems or a specific issue at hand, that we take our mind off our goals and our peacefulness. We let things and people overpower us and allow the negative energy into our souls to bring us down. We have to consciously make an effort to take a stand and remove the negative and revert to our inner peace.
Fill your soul with happiness, peace, and calmness. Lift your burdens to God and ask Him to guide you to the resolution and provide you with peace about it. Choose to be happy and find your inner peace. Inner peace begins the moment we choose not to allow something to bother us and control us.
Let your inner peace be a reflection of your soul, who you are, and your inward beauty to project outwardly.
Just as the day can be so dreary, it can be so amazingly beautiful. People can appear to be a bit dreary unless we take the time to get to know them. Be compassionate and care about one another without judging or assuming. Everyone can have a bad day, week, month, or even a year, but that is only one layer of the onion, or one page or chapter in their book. We have to read the book and turn each page to get to the end. You have to peel their onion layers back to realize the depth and beauty of their soul. You have no idea what they went through on their journey to the present with the troubles, the ups and downs, and the different paths life took them down to become who they are today. You may find an award-winning story within an awesome person that you would have never known otherwise. We must take time to learn about people and become caring and closer with them. It is then that we will truly understand others and bind the world with love and unity. Celebrate life with people and create an amazingly beautiful day in journey of life.
